Corporate Storytelling Certificate Program
It’s been said that those who tell the stories rule the world – and we couldn’t agree more. That’s why the Center for Corporate Storytelling at California International Business University, in partnership with Ann marie Houghtailing, Inc., is offering a first-of-its-kind academic certification in Corporate Storytelling.
The program provides a foundational education in the science, structure, and application of storytelling for business, and will teach participants how to thoughtfully and authentically integrate memorable and impactful narrative into their day-to-day business practice.
As a participant, you’ll learn why storytelling is the most powerful (yet most underutilized) tool in developing professional relationships and how good storytelling can drive nearly every aspect of business – from leadership, recruiting, and business development to change management, public relations, marketing, and branding.

The Institute for Corporate Storytelling at California International Business School will host a dynamic dialogue about the role of storytelling and technology in modern politics with two powerful experts in their fields.
The discussion will explore what it means to “control the narrative” and how this shapes our relationship with truth. We’ll also look at Cambridge Analytica and it’s impact on modern politics. Our experts are Laura Fink and Lesley Tadgell-Foster.
Laura Fink has built a career helping people find resonance. A sought after speaker, writer, instructor and strategist, she has grown businesses, rejuvenated non-profits and elected national and statewide leaders by enabling them to successfully tell their stories. She has served as a trusted advisor to multiple Members of Congress, a former Speaker of the California State Assembly, corporate leaders, high profile philanthropists and non-profit executives.
Lesley Tadgell-Foster is Managing Director of Shelfline Promotional Consultancy. She works with a range of clients who need to find a bridge between the marketing department and legal. Her consultancy offers a variety of compliance solutions for both data protection and other marketing legislation where operational issues must fit within internal policy guidelines.
